Abstinence-based treatment works, but it may not be the best path for some. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of prescription medication therapy to treat addiction.
MAT medications include Subutex, Sublocade, and Vivitrol. When used in a controlled, clinical setting, these medications are safe and effective.
MAT gives every person a chance at a successful recovery.

Time spent with us is up to the individual. Typically, people stay at The Edge for as short as a few weeks or up to a year. We prefer to focus on the needs of an individual's recovery rather than how long someone stays with us.
We provide a broad range of group and individual therapies. With us, your loved one will learn positive coping mechanisms, how to avoid harmful thought patterns leading to substance use, how to relate to others dealing with the same issues and getting to the root causes of their substance use.
Typically, your loved one will have one weekly session with an assigned therapist. However, they also have 24/7 access to treatment staff and medication if needed.
