Is The Edge a 12-step program?

We expose the people under our care to a variety of support groups. By allowing them freedom to explore various support groups, our clients are able to find one which works for them.

Do you offer sober living by itself?

No. We only help those enrolled in our program find a sober living home.

Does a client have to come in at PHP level?

This depends on an individual's needs and situation.

Does The Edge admit couples?

We'll accept clients in a relationship with each other, but their programming will be based on them as individuals.

Do you offer night programming?

Yes! Our drug rehab is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Edge provides treatment for substance addiction and dual diagnosis. We offer partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy at our Santa Ana treatment facility. Additionally, we offer a full range of telehealth groups as well as individual therapy.

We gladly accept people at any stage of their recovery, from the newly recovered to people with months of recovery behind them.

The Edge Is a MAT-Friendly Drug & Alcohol Addiction Center

We recognize prescription medications can play a role in creating sustained recovery. The Edge proudly includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as one of our modalities.

At The Edge, recovery is built around community. Mindful bonding activities from weekly dinners to whale watching help foster positive relationships and a sense of belonging. Weekly experiential outings and adventures to many of the world-class destinations around our Southern California home prove it’s possible to have fun without addictive substances. The Edge community is a safe, caring environment where the emotional aspects of addiction can be explored without fear of shame or stigma.

Flexible Programming Hours

Our hours of programming run from 10 am to 9 pm and include a robust telehealth component. Not only does this ensure our programs can fit into any schedule, but it’s also an opportunity to begin rebuilding a life while receiving treatment.

It works, too – around 80% of our community works and/or attends school while under our care.
